Embroidery kits, from Studio MME
We here at Argyle are delighted to introduce new embroidery kits from Portland, Oregon's own Studio MME. These designs have a really playful, whimsical aesthetic, with a great sense of humor and really classy and tasteful as well.
As MME's designer Megan describes her kits: "I am on a mission to fill the world with approachable embroidery for modern stitchers. I create my embroidery designs because I want to live in a world where we come home from work and decompress on the couch with a fun embroidery project. A world where homes are decorated by things we made and proudly display. A world where we give the gift of craft - the gift of quiet time."
You can pick up one of these kits on our online store.

Peacock Royale 8" kit As MME's Megan puts it: "May I present Percival, a king peacock. He's a bit flamboyant, a touch noisy, and every inch royalty. With his little crown and chain of office, he's ready to officiate over all avian diplomatic issues. He's also happy to rule over your home if given the chance." |
Dreaming Foxes 8" kit "Scientists teach us that the world began with a big bang far, far away. Foxes know that it actually began with a dream from the first two foxes. They were responsible for dreaming the world and all of its flora, fauna, and foxes, into being. They still dream up among the stars, creating new planets and nebulas." |
Night Owls 8" kit "What are you doing up so late?" That's what these two night owls would be asking were you to be out for a late night stroll. Or perhaps they just like to show off how much they can turn their heads." This piece has more pre-printed color on it then normal but that means it will leap off your walls even more. The little stars are so much fun to stitch amidst all that blue. |
Hedgehog Party 8" kit "Hedgehogs aren't always so prickly. Sometimes they put on their party hats and let loose." If people are wondering which kit is great for kids or absolute beginners, try the Hedgehog Party. Since almost all of the piece is the running stitch, you're just going up and down to cover the colored lines on the fabric. Children as young as 7 have stitched up this kit. |
