We at Argyle Yarn Shop are very happy to welcome Susan Gibbs, founder of Juniper Moon Farm.
This talented yarn maker will be coming to New York to join us for one evening, Wednesday, July 22nd, with plenty of samples of her latest yarns and to answer questions about her Virginia-based yarn company.
We invite you to our next yarn tasting featuring yarns by Juniper Moon Farm.
Juniper Moon will be providing samples of each of their yarns for us to experiment with, so be sure to bring your own needles or crochet hooks in various sizes to test them out. They'll also be raffling off several lovely door prizes. And we'll be providing some snacks and refreshments.
A yarn tasting is a great way to discover a new favorite and learn more about where the yarns we use come from. Come spend time in a festive atmosphere with like-minded crafters. Please join us!
This event is free, however we ask that you please RSVP at email@example.com as seating is limited.
Wednesday, July 22nd
6 PM to 8 PM
Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia, you'll find Juniper Moon Farm, a place where fine wool sheep and Angora goats produce some of the finest farm yarns in the United States.
Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers.
In addition to the yarn from her own flock, Susan Gibbs is the Creative Director of Juniper Moon Farm Yarns, a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy. Each yarn is paired with a curated collection of patterns by some of the hottest and up-and-coming designers.
