Folio, by Berroco
Folio is a luscious, superfine alpaca that feels as soft and luxurious as cashmere. This trans-seasonal yarn can be worked on a wide range of needle sizes and is a perfect choice for projects that flow, wrap, and drape.
There's just enough rayon added so that the alpaca won't pill or grow. It also lends a sheen and texture similar to silk. (Someone on Ravelry once described Folio as being "like clouds and cobwebs spun by fairies."
Folio has a sister yarn, Folio Luxe, which is the same Folio we know and love infused with glittering metallic strands, perfect for glamorous accessories.
Kate used Folio Luxe to knit up a sample of "Berta," a garter stitch lace shawl knit from the center out.
On the left is Kate's version in the color "Hydra," and to the right is Berroco's own version in the color "Orion."
