| What is the Brooklyn Yarn Crawl? It's a four-day event put on by the same folks who bring you the fall NYC Yarn Crawl, where knitters, crocheters, spinners, dyers, weavers and fiber lovers of all kinds visit Brooklyn's finest local yarn shops to celebrate our love of the fiber arts.  Small enough to hit all the stores, and each store is different must-see. With only Brooklyn stores to visit, you'll have time to savor all the offerings at each store and really get to know its personality. At the same time you get to explore the borough's fun and diverse neighborhoods from Atlantic Avenue to Red Hook; Park Slope to Windsor Terrace. Along the way stop at great restaurants for sips and eats, and show off your score!  How does it work? It's FREE to crawl, and there is no pre-registration necessary. Just grab a map, and visit the shops. Sign in at each shop to enter their in-store prize drawings. Sign in at all the Brooklyn stores and you're automatically entered into the grand prize drawings. It's that simple!   Ahh the goodies! Adding to the crawl fun are the great prizes you can win. Donated by the Yarn Crawl's generous sponsors, the prize winners will get gift certificates that can be spent on anything in the store where it was won. How great is that?! Each store will have two Yarn Crawl raffle prizes. Everyone loved the gift certificates from last year, so the Yarn Crawl is bringing them back again. If you win, you can choose whatever you want in the store where you won the prize. Plus both winners get vintage Yarn Crawl totes with buttons. We think it's awesome and hope you do too!
At the end of the crawl, random winners are drawn for each prize. Check back here post-crawl to see if you won. You must pick up your prize at the shop whose gift certificate you choose. Good luck! This year's Grand Prizes will include a gift certificate to spend in any BKLYN Crawl store you like! Yep, you choose the store, and the Brooklyn Yarn Crawl will get you the gift certificate! First prize also includes a beautiful Dreamz interchangeable needle set from Knitters Pride and both winners get vintage Yarn Crawl totes, buttons, a custom BYC poster and fiber from the Yarn Crawl's amazing sponsors. And thanks to the generous sponsors, the Yarn Crawl raised the amount of the Scavenger Hunt gift cards from $100/$200 to $150 and $250! Yay!!!
1. Search the store for the secret item. Who knows what else you'll discover! 2. Write down each code and the corresponding shop name. You will need a code from each participating shop to enter the drawing. Please do not post any images with the special code in it! 3. Once you've finished crawling, email your list to yarncrawlnyc@gmail.com with and you'll be entered into the grand prize drawing. 4. All emails must be received no later than Wednesday, April 27 at 5pm EST (sharp!) to be eligible. 5. Check back here for the winner's list after the crawl.   LUMINOUS BROOKLYN RAFFLE PRIZE!
