| | Casual, fun, social evenings of knitting together!  Join us this summer for a community knit-along! The first knitting party is at Argyle this Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM! RSVP right here. Argyle Yarn Shop is collaborating all summer long with Brooklyn General Store for a fun, inspiring, and carefree series of knitting parties: A knit-along! We be taking turns hosting them every other Tuesday evening. To add to the fun of these knitting parties, a brand new pattern has been created by a top designer specially for this event! We are very happy to be rejoined by the designer who first kicked off these collaborations with her popular shawl pattern, Brooklyn Blossom: Kirsten Kapur!  Celebrate Brooklyn! Here is a sneak peek of this season's striking and stunning new pattern! A bold, graphic shawl, "Celebrate Brooklyn" is a delight to wear and offers wonderful opportunities to experiment with color. We really can't wait to see the different color combinations everyone puts together!  The Celebrate Brooklyn is made from four different colors of fingering weight yarn. In the spirit of harmony, Kirsten Kapur worked with two dyers each from both Argyle and Brooklyn General. Argyle's contributions were the Studio Sock by Neighborhood Fiber Co., and Skinny Singles by Hedgehog Fibres. Come on in before this Tuesday and we would love to help you put together a unique color combination to put a smile on your face! What's a Knit-Along? A Knit-Along is when a community of knitters decides to all work on the same project at the same time, helping, teaching, and encouraging each other as they go. But if you've already got a work in progress and are simply looking forward to getting out for a fun, casual, social evening of knitting (or crochet!) please do join us! It's always free, just RSVP!
