City Sun KAL directions

Directions to the City Sun Shawl knit-along 

Join us for a knitting party this Saturday, August 7th, from 10:00 to 12:00.

This event is co-hosted by Brooklyn General Store and Argyle Yarn Shop.

We will be meeting up at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Parking near Brooklyn Bridge Park is very limited. Brooklyn Bridge Park is accessible by bus, subway, and ferry.

Here is what the walk to the location looks like, walking west down Atlantic Ave starting from Hicks Street:

 

Walking west, you will pass underneath the 278 overpass.

The entrance to Pier 6 is straight ahead. Here's what it looks like.

There will be benches and bushes on either side. Keep going straight.

​On the right, you will pass by the open air seating for a restaurant, Fornino.

As you approach the end of Pier 6, you will pass by many of these lovely yellow flower bushes.

​As you continue down Pier 6, any path will open up through a clearing into a grassy field.
